Large Schumann porcelain plate from Germany dating to the 2nd quarter of the 20th century. In the center of the plate is a transfer design of Murillo's Young Boys Playing Dice , a group of small boys casting die and tasting a plate of delectable melon. The plate is 11.25" in diameter and in excellent condition. The pierced border is intricate, featuring latticework and flowers and also gold accented.
